The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQC electric SUV range has been expanded with a new entry-level variant, cutting the base price by over $15,000.
The revised EQC line-up sees the sole variant previously offered by Mercedes-Benz renamed to EQC400 4Matic Sport, and a new EQC400 4Matic model slot below it, priced from $124,300 before on-road costs – $17,000 less than the $141,300 before on-road costs Sport (which was previously listed at $140,771 before on-roads).
Standard equipment across both models includes twin 10.25-inch screens with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED headlights, electric front seats with heating, dual-zone climate control, black leatherette upholstery, keyless entry, power tailgate, and a full suite of active safety technologies.
However, the Sport maintains its flagship status with AMG Line interior and exterior styling, genuine leather seat trim, a nappa leather steering wheel, 21-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof, head-up display, and rear privacy glass.
